It was a busy Independence Day for Douglas Automotive this year! We were proud to take part in both the Barrington Fourth of July Parade as well as the Crystal Lake July Fourth Parade. Pictured here is Ty Bently and Pat Moody with Miss Crystal Lake, Mel Walter. Taking an active role in celebrations like these gives us another opportunity to meet with our neighbors. We would like to thank all the community leaders who helped to coordinate these events. We enjoyed every minute of it!
Barrington Service Contractors Meeting at Douglas
Douglas Automotive recently hosted the Barrington Service Contractors meeting at our Barrington Facility. Members of the Barrington Service Contractors are locally owned businesses who are held to the highest standards, licensed, insured and in good standing with the Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce and Better Business Bureau.Another Complaint-Free Year!
The Better Business Bureau has just awarded Douglas Automotive a Complaint-Free award for the second year in a row! This is truly an honor as it helps reinforce the values we put into action each day for our clients and workplace.Donations from Oil Changes Raise $1800 for Local Food Pantries
Thanks to everyone who came out to support the 2010 Douglas Automotive Food Pantry Fundraiser. From October 1 to November 14, we donated $5 from every oil change to two local food pantries, the Willow Creek Care Center/Food Pantry and the Crystal Lake Food Pantry. Together, we were able to raise $1800 to help these two great organizations provide food and supplies to needy people in our community. We also collected canned and non-perishable food items at both our shops to add to the donation. With your help, we were able to help a lot of families out this holiday season.Cars Ministry
